RESIN

Cation resin is a type of ion exchange resin used to remove positive ions (cations) from water.

Anion resin is designed to remove negative ions (anions) from water. These include fluoride, chloride, and sulfate. Anion resins typically use a quaternary amine base capable of attracting and binding negative ions, replacing them with hydroxide or chloride ions, depending on the type and requirements of the water treatment process.
